The governorship candidate of National Interest Party and the second female gubernatorial aspirant Oyo State in the history of the state, Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu has pledged to train 100,000 people as her support for the DSIgate Skill for Free 2019 project.
She made this known during the Oyo Governorship Debate organized by BeatFM and NaijaFM which held yesterday, 3rd December at the Trenchard Hall, University of Ibadan and was supported by DSIgate.
This she declared, is her own way of empowering the people of Oyo state to achieve financial independence. According to her, the matter of minimum wage is a non-issue in a state where most structures are set to frustrate the efforts of hardworking Nigerians. She concluded by calling on well-meaning Nigerians to key into the program like she did by supporting DSIgate in order to make Nigeria great again.
DSIgate Skill for Free 2019 aims to empower 5 million Nigerians Across the 36 States and the FCT. In a statement by the DSIgate project team coordinator, Mr Charles Alade, a solid structure has been erected to ensure the success of this vision. He emphasized that the scheme has the mandatory manpower required to implement project plans through State Coordinators, Local Government Supervisors and Center Supervisors in each in each states and Local Governments of the Federation.
Mr Charles Alade called on the audience and the general public to key into the program by registering on the website and by telling others about the program.
DSIgate has responded to this latest development by proclaiming her readiness to start training the people of Oyo State by mid-January.
“With our headquarters situated in Oyo State, it is only fair we start making our mark from the place we call home” reasoned the Chairman, DSIgate Board-of-Trustees, Prince Abiola Omoba. The program aired live on both BeatFM and NaijaFM Ibadan and was streamed live for online viewers.
