It was a memorable weekend for all DSIgate registered trainees in Oyo State as they attended the physical training classes which held on Friday 8th of February and Saturday 9th February.
All selected skills were taught at the designated training centers which included schools, halls and art studios. The classes held at serene environment conducive to learning.
All participants were given the opportunity to practice each of the skills they registered for as the trainers encouraged interactions and simulations.
The trainers were selected from the pool of available trainers in the state after going through a comprehensive validation exercise. Thus, those with wealth of experience and passion for spreading their knowledge came to the fore.
Among the trainees were teenagers, adults and the elderly. These were captured from all walks of life including mothers, fathers, single, married, graduates, undergraduates, the underemployed and the unemployed.
The feedback from the trainees showed that they immensely enjoyed the training and were astonished at the value DSIgate made available for them. Participants expressed deep appreciation for the initiative to train Nigerians for free.
They also filled the loan and grants application form which will be processed upon submission.
Meanwhile, some of the registered participants on the platform had opted for online training and become privy to free classes via videos and learning materials. These will not only benefit from the Skill for Free Program from the comfort of their homes and within their own schedule, they will also be privileged to enjoy the benefits attached to the program through the provision of loans and grants facility.
The Director of the program, Mr Victor Adeyemi assured all that are registered on DSIgate but yet to be trained to be patient and endeavor to check their dashboards frequently for updates on the training as all efforts are geared towards fulfilling promises made.
